Thorhild Widvey is a Norwegian national. Mrs. Widvey was a member of parliament from 1989 to 1997 and was undersecretary of state in the ministry of fisheries from 2002 to 2003 and in the ministry of foreign affairs from 2003 to 2004. She was the Norwegian Minister of Oil and Energy from 2004 to 2005. She has been a board member of several private and listed companies within the energy and fishery sector, amongst other Pharmaq AS, Deep Ocean ASA and Aker Drilling ASA. Currently her directorships include amongst others Bjørge ASA, Gresvig ASA, Reservoir Exploration Technology ASA, HitechVision AS and Akva Group ASA.
